We are super proud that our Site Manager Chris Doolan has won an NHBC Pride in the Job award for the second time at our Moorfield Park development in Poulton-le-Fylde. Chris Doolan, 35, who lives in Preston and is in charge of construction at Jones Homes’ Moorfield Park development in Poulton-le-Fylde, was over the moon when he found out that he had won his a Pride in the Job Quality Award for the second consecutive year. Pride in the Job is the most highly regarded competition in our industry and a prestigious benchmark for exceptional site managers. To win this award for two consecutive years demonstrates a continuity of care and a commitment to the maintenance of high standards. House building is a team effort, but the calibre of the site manager has the most significant influence on the quality of the completed home. The Pride in the Job Awards are organised by the National House Building Council (NHBC) every year to give recognition to those who achieve the highest standards in construction. Judging for the 2024 competition has been underway since July last year. Thousands of site inspections and meticulous scoring and verification have taken place to determine this years Quality Award winners. Chris initially worked as a plumber after leaving school and completing a plumbing apprenticeship, making the move across into construction in 2013. He worked for another housebuilder as a assistant site manager before joining Jones Homes as a site manager at Moorfield Park. He said: “Everyone within the development works very hard together and we are all dedicated to creating the best outcome. This team effort is what helped us to win the award. “Being a site manager allows you to see the construction of a development from start to finish. Sales manager keeps it in the family as she follows in her mum’s footsteps

Terri Stamp is keeping up a family tradition by pursuing a successful career in sales with the same housebuilding company as her mum. The 39-year-old has been appointed Field Sales Manager at Jones Homes North West, based in Alderley Edge, a year after her mother Hilary retired from her position as Area Sales Manager with the developer. Terri is fulfilling a childhood ambition which was formed when she and her friends used to visit her mum at work after primary school. “I was at the village school in Alsager and mum was working 300 yards away at Jones Homes’ Cranford Park development,” said Terri, who still lives in Alsager. “I used to walk down with some of my friends and we would pop in to see mum. “I was so proud of her as she let us see inside the show home, which looked like a palace to us youngsters.
