New build homes

better for your lifestyle and the environment

At Jones Homes, we design and build energy-efficient new build homes that don’t just look good, but that work smarter too. Each of our homes is crafted with sustainability, comfort and long-term savings in mind, using the latest materials and technologies to help you reduce your energy use and lower household bills at a time when costs are rising.

Why does

energy efficiency matter?

New build homes are built to higher energy standards than older houses, and as a result, they are naturally warmer, more efficient and better for the environment. From the property’s modern insulation, double glazing and advanced heating systems and ventilation, Jones Homes are built to save heat and energy, and help you reduce your carbon footprint.

For homeowners, the benefit will translate into lower running costs and an improved, future proof home.

Solar Panels

High-quality Insulation

High-quality insulation keeps your new home warm in winter and cool in summer. This reduces the need to use heating or air conditioning. We use high-performance materials and installation techniques which minimise heat transfer and maintain comfortable temperatures within the home, all year round.

High-performance Windows

High-performance windows are fitted in our new build homes as standard, combining insulation-friendly materials with a sleek, modern aesthetic. Many homes include features like bay windows, French doors and bi-fold doors which maximise natural light and reduce reliance on artificial lighting.

Air-tight Building Envelopes

Air-tight building envelopes help prevent heat loss through draughts or leaks. Every one of our new build homes is tested for air tightness, ensuring that it meets the strict efficiency standards and maintains a consistent indoor temperature.

Energy-efficient Appliances And Lighting

Energy-efficient appliances and lighting are included as standard in every Jones home. Trusted brands like Bosch and Neff provide kitchen appliances which are designed to minimise energy consumption, while LED lighting fixtures throughout the home deliver long-lasting, low-energy light.

Air Source Heat Pumps

Jones Homes has already begun to install air source heat pumps on selected developments ahead of the 2025 Future Homes Standard, replacing gas boilers to cut carbon emissions by up to 80% and support the UK’s goal of reaching net zero by 2050.

Renewable Energy Features

Renewable energy features such as solar panels and EV charging points are available on many of our homes, as we look ahead to the future. From 2025, Jones Homes will no longer fit gas boilers in new properties, opting instead for low-carbon alternatives in line with the UK’s net zero goals.

A new build home

that works harder for you

Did you know that new build home owners save on energy bills compared to older homes*?

From everyday energy savings to long-term sustainability, a Jones home gives you more than just great design, it also gives you peace of mind.
