The NHBC Buildmark provides protection against particular problems with your property that relate to foundation and structure. Your policy document will more fully explain the parts of your home that are covered. Wear and tear, fire and smoke damage, and items and incidents that are covered by another type of insurance/warranty are not usually encompassed.
